NSKK Leader Upgrade Dagger Chain

Officer Upgrade Chain: In 1938 the NSKK authorized a chain hanger to daggers for officers. Old and newly promoted officers had the choice of either buying a new chained dagger or purchasing a new chain and band from a factory or distributer to upgrade their old enlisted man's dagger.

Nickel plated steel, 23 cm, marked Musterschutz NSKK Korpsfuhrung, unissued (no screw hole in band), very light wear.
