NSDAP GAUTAG  2. OKT. 1932 WIEN: This badge commemorates the Vienna Gau rally held on 2 October 1932, before Hitler came to power in Germany (January 1933).  Central swastika in relief with pebbled/textured fields between the arms, Eagle perched across the top of the swastika, wings spread, “NSDAP” lettering to the right of the eagle, Vertical fluted pillar-style design elements on left and right margins.  Vertical “GES. GESCH.” (Gesetzlich Geschützt – legally protected) marking along the right edge.  31 x 45 mm.
