One of the rarest Luftwaffe
badges, the glider pilot badge was instituted on December
16, 1940 and was awarded to pilots who successfully completed
the glider training course and became certified. There are
four known manufacturers - C. E. Juncker, BSW, W. Deumer,
and G. H. Osang.
Most badges were unmarked. |
