US Army & Navy Signal Binoculars: Pre 1864, 55 mm (2.5 inch) lenses, est 30 power, the best quality binoculars made by A Bardou for the Union army at the time, after 1864 they were serial numbered. The body and parts are blackened brass, leather covered, 9 inches fully extended, optics are clear and work perfectly, you can read a license plate from blocks away, right eye guard slightly dented, overall moderate wear.

Hardshell leather case: 4 ft leather strap secured by a tab and two blued staples on each side, designed to hang over the shoulder to just below the belt line, short side tab on side is missing; excellent finger lift cover strap and blued buckle; buckle strap secured by two blued staples, tip worn away (two easy repairs).
