Anorak Sheepskin Great CoatAnorak Fleece-Lined Coat: The German Armed Forces had at least a dozen styles of greatcoats. The fur lined, animal skin greatcoat was designed for extreme winter conditions for stationary guards, sentries, truck drivers, bomber crews, and front line combat troops for wear over their uniform. The animal skin coats were returned to a storage depot at the end of the season for reissue the following year. This coat is very small, probably made for the school age son of a senior officer or a very small skinny young man; dark and white fleece lined, three zippers, snap windbreak cuffs inside the sleeves, neck and collar closures, two side pockets with snaps and a virtually invisible secret left side shoulder pocket, 6 cm heavy duty fabric waist seam hiding two belts inside with buckles on each side for the left or right handed wearer. A quality, early war, well designed leather jacket well worth repairing.
